As a Global Shaper Alumni and Mandela Washington fellow-2015, I partner with different organizations to support my ‘Speak for Sustainability’ project which supports young people and women with resources, providing them a platform to speak and get information about sustainable development goals empowering them to start up their own businesses. Under this project I run a campaign known as Menstruation/Mentorship Matters, a project aimed at solving the problem of menstrual hygiene management (MHM) and mentorship amongst school girls in rural areas of Zambia concentrating on provision of appropriate, girl-friendly, timely information about menstrual hygiene management and the safe and free distribution of sanitary pads.
